Business Development Manager (Korean)

Job description

Leflair International is the cross-border eCommerce arm of Leflair in Southeast Asia. Its team is on a mission to find the best international brands across the world and make them accessible to consumers in Southeast Asia. In this role, you will have to develop a network of brands, distributors and logistics partners in Korea to grow sales into one of our largest revenue stream.


Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and collaborate with the most popular brands in Korea to ensure a consistent flow of attractive offers on the website
  • Oversee execution of each contract / deal / opportunity through close collaboration with internal teams (marketing, operations, etc.), from initial closing to liquidation 
  • Stay on top of sales and marketing performance to lead growth actions 
  • Analyze product category performance and trends; identify opportunities for testing and optimization, with a focus on improving conversion, price optimizations and continuous optimization of processes to deliver maximum efficiency and value to brand partners

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail, distribution, buying, experience in e-commerce is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English required
  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence in problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
